Myxo (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “application”, “app”, or “the app”) takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, used, shared, and protected when you use Myxo. Please read this policy carefully before using the app.

Information We Collect

User-Uploaded Images

Myxo uses Fal.ai, a third-party AI service, to process user-uploaded images and generate requested images/videos. User data are processed temporarily only as necessary to generate and deliver the requested result. Images may include faces. However, Myxo does not collect, extract, analyse, or store facial or biometric data. We do not perform facial recognition or attempt to identify individuals.

User-Provided Text and Prompts

Myxo allows users to enter text, ideas, prompts, editing instructions, and other text-based requests to access AI-powered features.

Myxo uses Fal.ai, a third-party AI service, to process this information and generate the content requested by the user.

This may include text submitted when using features such as:

• Create Images

• Generate Prompts

• Highlight to Edit

• Edit Images by Chat

• Animate Photos

• Other AI-powered generation or editing features

Text prompts and instructions are processed as necessary to generate and deliver the requested result.

Face Data Handling

Myxo may process user-uploaded images containing human faces. This section explains how such images are handled.

Collection of Face Data

Myxo does not specifically collect, detect, extract, or identify face data as a separate category of information. Images voluntarily selected or uploaded by users may contain faces as part of their visual content.

Use of Images

Images containing faces may be processed solely to provide AI-powered features explicitly requested by the user, such as image editing or photo animation. Processing may be performed through Fal.ai.

Myxo does not perform facial recognition, face identification, identity verification, biometric analysis, or profiling based on facial features.

Sharing of Images

To provide AI-powered generation, editing, and animation features, user-uploaded images may be securely transmitted to Fal.ai.

Images are shared for the purpose of providing the AI operation requested by the user. Myxo does not share uploaded images with third parties for facial recognition, biometric identification, advertising, or unrelated profiling.

Storage and Retention

Myxo does not retain facial or biometric identifiers or create facial recognition profiles. Generated content and creation history may be stored locally on the user's device so that users can revisit their previous creations.

Third-party service providers may process information according to their own data handling and retention practices.

User Consent

Text prompts, images, editing instructions, and other user-provided content are processed when the user actively chooses to use an AI-powered feature.

Before the first use of features requiring third-party AI processing, users may be presented with a Data & Privacy Disclosure explaining that their content will be transmitted to a third-party AI provider.

Processing begins only after the user selects Agree & Continue.

Users who select Decline will not be able to use features that require third-party AI processing.

Third-Party AI Processing

Myxo uses Fal.ai, a third-party AI service, to provide certain AI-powered functionality. Depending on the feature used, Fal.ai may receive information necessary to process the user's request, including:

• Text prompts

• Images

• Editing instructions

• Image masks or selected areas

• Animation instructions

• Other information necessary to generate the requested result

Myxo does not intentionally send user content to Fal.ai for facial recognition, biometric identification, advertising, identity verification, or unrelated profiling.

No biometric identifiers or facial recognition profiles are created by Myxo.

Fal.ai may process information according to its own privacy, security, and data retention practices.

Data Retention

Myxo may store certain information locally on the user's device to provide app functionality.

This may include:

• Generated images

• Generated animations or videos

• Creation history

• Prompts associated with locally saved creations

• App preferences

• Saved settings

Users may remove locally stored information using available app functionality or by uninstalling Myxo.

Content transmitted to third-party AI providers is subject to the applicable provider's processing and retention practices.

AI Image Generation and Processing

User-provided prompts, images, selected image areas, and editing instructions are securely transmitted to Fal.ai solely to perform the AI-powered action requested by the user.

Depending on the feature selected, this processing may include:

• Generating an image from a text prompt

• Generating or improving a text prompt

• Editing a selected area of an image

• Transforming or restyling an image

• Editing an image based on chat instructions

• Generating animation or motion from a still image

• Producing other AI-generated visual content requested by the user

Myxo does not use user-uploaded images or prompts for advertising, identity verification, facial recognition, biometric profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user-provided prompts, images, instructions, and generated content during transmission and processing.

However, no method of internet transmission, electronic processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should avoid uploading confidential, sensitive, or legally protected images, documents, or text.

Analytics and Diagnostic Information

Myxo may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited technical, usage, and diagnostic information.

This information may include:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• App version

• Feature usage

• Performance information

• Crash reports

• Diagnostic logs

This information is used to understand app usage and improve Myxo's functionality, stability, performance, and user experience.

Analytics and diagnostic information is not used by Myxo to perform facial recognition or create biometric profiles.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Myxo may offer optional Pro subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Payments made through the iOS app are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Myxo does not directly collect or store users' payment card information.

Apple may provide limited transaction information, such as purchase confirmation, product information, and subscription status, so that Pro features can be activated and managed.

Third-Party Access

Myxo may use third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies, including:

• Fal.ai for AI-powered generation, editing, and animation features

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Firebase Crashlytics

• Apple In-App Purchase

These services may process limited information necessary to provide their respective functionality.

Information may also be disclosed:

• When required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or similar legal process

• When reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or others

• To investigate fraud, misuse, abuse, or security incidents

• To service providers acting on our behalf and subject to applicable obligations

Myxo does not sell or rent user information.

Device Permissions

Myxo may request access to certain device features when necessary to provide functionality.

Photo Library

Photo Library access may be used when the user chooses to select an image for editing or animation, or when the user chooses to save generated content to their device.

Myxo accesses photos only in accordance with the permissions granted by the user.

Camera

If camera functionality is available, Camera access is used only when the user chooses to capture a new photo for use within the app.

Users can manage device permissions through their device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from functioning.

Opt-Out Rights

Users can stop Myxo from processing information by discontinuing use of the app and uninstalling it through the standard uninstall process available on their device.

Users may also decline third-party AI processing through the Data & Privacy Disclosure where this option is provided.

Declining third-party AI processing will prevent access to features that require user content to be transmitted to an AI service.

Children's Privacy

Myxo is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information where applicable.

Security of Data

We use reasonable physical, electronic, administrative, and procedural safeguards designed to protect information processed through Myxo.

Despite these measures, no method of transmission, processing, or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should avoid uploading confidential, highly sensitive, or legally protected images or text to AI-powered features.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in Myxo's functionality, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Myxo after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Privacy Policy.

Your Consent

By using Myxo and selecting Agree & Continue before accessing AI-powered features, where applicable, you consent to the processing of text prompts, uploaded images, editing instructions, and related information as described in this Privacy Policy.
